  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Learnt new skills and understanding around change management. particularly around MI and report writing and understanding behaviours and methodologies. Using information in HR was particularly useful as this led me to understand better now recruitment fits into the wider HR model and strategies. Report writing skills at degree level also learnt.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I would say i did enjoy my programme when i had a really strong tutor who was supportive and gave guidance. My tutor changed half way through and the tutor i had at the start of the programme was a little less supportive. At times when workload at work was really busy, can be a pressure to meet deadlines but glad we can get extensions.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Structure with calls and presentations are good. More examples would be helpful and maybe to talk with the cohort outside of just the live presentations. Drop in for questions is good but can be daunting to ask a question in front of everyone in the chat. Like the timeline given at start.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Received some. Completed calls and some coursework during working hours but work was the priority. Would have like more where a colleague could cover or pick up a work area for 1 day a month for me to complete reports and complete research. Moving forward i would like it to be a learning area for Lidl.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Good support from Arch. Could have more calls and 121s. Supportive an contactable. Generally with good advice, Tracker can feel tedious and very time consuming - can there be another way to document hours? Project titles are good and informative and like doing own research. Interactions good and easy to email fi any issues,

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Understanding wider HR, business factors and change has definitely been a positive learning. I could apply MI data research models to project and current day to day. Can also understand the role and impact of wider HR policies on organisation. Learning about redundancies was particularly a new area where i can now add value in my organisation.
