My job role is to keep the restaurant area clean and tidy and liase with customers. The cleaning involves mopping/sweeping the floor, clearing/wiping tables, empty the rubbish bins and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer toilets. I also have to keep the staff room clean and tidy. I make sure that customers have everything they need to have a comfortable experience.
I ferl that I have a better understanding of customer needs and expectations. I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know the regular customers who visit the store. I feel that the course has interesting content and could help me to fulfill my role to my full potential, with confidence.
I enjoy learning new things and broadening my skills and ability. I have liked all of the course content so far and I'm sure the rest will be the same. I think that meeting with my assessor once a month is just the right amount of time, and I know that if I need support they are there.

My work place support me by giving me the time to meet with my assessor. This time, up to yet has been within my working hours. I know if I need any support I can always ask one of the managers, and they will do what they can to support me.
The training provider offer me advice and support. I know that if I need anything that I only need to get in touch with my assessor. My assessor messages me to make sure that I'm ok and not struggling with anything. I feel comfortable to discuss any problems with my assessor.

At my work place there are activities that all staff are encouraged to take part in. We have charities that we support and organise events to raise money. We have evenings out arranged by the company, these are sociable and fun. It helps the staff ferl part of a team.

I feel that McDonald's are a good company to work for. The pay is ok and competitive. There us an employee of the month for incentive. They try to work with employees and give flexible rotas even needed. They offer a free meal on every shift you work, with a 45 minute break. They have an open and honest approach. There are many opportunities for promotion.
