Learning and experiencing the work that takes place on the lighting and grid side of eon including, removing and installing street furniture, repairs and inspections.
Yes, I’ve learnt how to use heavy machinery and equipment as well as develop my people skills and team building skills.
Very much there’s a good balance between courses (class room learning) and out in the field (on the job learning).
Excellent, anything we need to know is explained and given to us weeks before (example, any courses that we’ve been booked on we know about weeks before it’s happening with a full print out of what needs to me taken, address and timings)
A lot, at any time I can get in touch with any supervisor, colleague, trainer or manager for advice or help. (Even out of normal work hours)
Great support they give extra help if there’s anything I’m getting stuck on
The back ground knowledge is great and really helps me understand why we do certain aspects of the job

The support so far has been great and the job prospects at the end are amazing.
Take your time, answer every question carefully, read up on the lighting and grid side of eon and try to make think of some questions to ask during the interview.
