My current role involves the use of Adobe Livecycle and creating JSF screens through the use of Java.
Yes, since joining the apprenticeship I have learned programming in java, JavaScript, sql, html and also am learning to use adobe LiveCycle. I have also been developing existing skills in presentations etc...
I am enjoying my program a great deal, a big reason for this is the opportunities being offered to me. Although I'm still getting used to the early mornings again :)
Currently at my place of work I feel very valued as I feel my contributions are helping the team keep to and meet the release deadlines.
The apprentice program so far has been well organised and I have not had any trouble to date with any of the events/ training carried out throughout the program.
As much support as I need or ask for. My assessor has been very patient with us and answers all our questions quickly and clearly.
My employer has and is supporting me greatly. This ranges from ensuring I am happy carrying out the new work given to me all the way to helping with problems with expenses etc... I also have a great career plan which is being set out by my managers which will put me on new and exciting training staring next year.
Throughout my job searching there were very few if any other companies which offered the same salary package as the company I work for now. It meets my cost's at the moment but I can't wait for a pay rise or a promotion which I suppose is the same for everyone.
This question is a hard one as I work away from a company office so where I work daily there have been many opportunities to help out and take part in charity events and fund raisers.
Yes
I have already recommended multiple friends to capgemini as you can guess from my provided comments it is a good friendly place to work which pays well and gives you opportunities to progress.
Be honest and be yourself. Don't be afraid to ask questions, brush up on your interview and assessment centre skills.
