  • I am a business support assistant at WTW, my responsibilities include placing insurance through our fund protect facility. Where I interact frequently with insurers and colleagues on more complex renewals where I feel I need some assistance.

  • I came into my role with no experience in or knowledge about the insurance industry, since joining I have learned how to conduct myself professionally when meeting with insurers. I have also developed my email writing skills.

  • I enjoy my programme very much, I have met many talented individuals who have helped me when I have been unsure on what to do. My fellow apprentices have also been very welcoming and easy to approach should I have a question about the programme

  • My programme is very well organised with clear and frequent communication surrounding the education part of the programme, my colleagues have been very supportive.

  • I have received excellent support from my employer, they have provided guidance whenever I have a query or am unsure about the programme.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have received plenty of support from my training provider including: online revision methods, official text books and face to face and online lessons.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It provides me with a better insight into the insurance industry helping me understand certain language used in and around the office I previously would not have understood.

  • We have many extra curricular activities, which include networking events, sports teams and lunch and learns.
