On a day to day basis I will with clients externally from WTW as well as working with other colleagues from WTW to provide cover on a scheme for Airside clients.
Since working at WTW this has definitely enabled me to boost my confidence, my team working skills, computer skills, allowed me to grow independently and create a wide network of people I can speak to in and outside of my work company.
I enjoy the programme I am on as it allows me to study whilst working and I know I am going to get a qualification out of this which will help me in the near future, I like the balance of working alongside studying.
Within Aerospace this is very organised and it is always ensured we have allocated time to our studies and apprenticeship work to allow us a work life balance and not overload us with tasks and a clear structure of progressing within WTW is clearly in place.
I feel I know I can always reach out to different people within WTW for any questions I have or if I am struggling with work and have never felt like I am not sure what to do or how to resolve an issue I am encountering.
My training provider puts in regular sessions to catch up with me, some being more formal than others, regarding my progress and ensures I am on track but does not push me too far and ensures I am balancing time between work and apprenticeship tasks.
There has been a lot of times where I realised I have learnt different skills and knowledge from my training provider that I have been able to use within my role, whether this be terminology or a way in which to approach clients or people within WTW.
There has been many networking activities within WTW, whether this be a lunch and learn or social drinks after work, I have definitely been able to widen my network through these and been able to meet a lot of new people through this which I may not have done otherwise.
Yes
WTW has been supportive throughout my time here and I have never had a day where I wished I didn't work here, it has allowed me to learn on the job within an environment where I not only feel valued but feel I can grow and become my own person.
Be yourself and show confidence when talking to people interviewing you and don't be afraid to ask questions, ensure you are getting the most out of your time speaking to people.
