I am a People Lead within Human Resources. I manage a team that are responsible for colleague contact within the business, via multiple channels such as email and live chat. My team are also responsible for processing employee lifecycle changes, as well as learning administration.
Absolutely, I feel that I've certainly developed since embarking on my apprenticeship programme. The workshops has really helped with my technical understanding and abilities, and practicing some of those skills in the role has helped me to develop my skills further.
I enjoy the structure, as well as the flexibility. My employer has been very supportive in allowing me the time during my day-to-day to focus on my development and remain on track in relation to my apprenticeship work. The support I've received from colleagues has been brilliant also.
The structure has been relatively pleasant, there's certainly no pressure and I've been appreciative of the flexibility. Learning on the job, with a day-to-day role, juggling apprenticeship work and busy work periods was a worry, but the programme has been structured in a way that allows sufficient time.
I couldn't be happier with the support from my employer. Allowing me the freedom and flexibility to manage my time, as well as access to any resources required required, has been great. The opportunities provided to me during my programme have been excellent too.
During my interactions with my lead trainers over the course of programme, they've all been very approachable and accessible. I feel that their feedback following assignment has been valuable and constructive. They have really helped to ensure I remain on track too, which always helps.
The technical element of my training and theory behind it, really helps to keep me aligned and understand the broader picture, which I feel really enhances my understanding and capabilities.
Yes, there are certainly plenty of opportunities to get involved in professional networking events, with plenty of internal communities too.
Yes
E.ON is a great employer. I feel valued as an employee, with purpose and fulfilment within my role. There are excellent benefits and compensation. E.ON has helped me thrive as an individual and has always recognised my potential and enabled me to progress within the organisation.
As a business facing out into the external market, I feel there's a lack of understanding in terms of how we operate and exactly what we do, we do some truly great work. Definitely get more curious in terms of what E.ON do before applying and after joining!
