I am an audit assistant who works for Crowe UK. My day to day operations consist of performing high quality external audits to clients around the UK. This consists of travelling to clients or working from the office if it is more beneficial for the client.
Within my job and also during my dats at college, I have developed my communication skills constantly through client and employee interaction on a daily basis. This is also highlighted through my college learning days where I have spoken to other students from other firms on a regular basis
I really enjoy the programme I am doing. The constant demand for success and high quality results from my firm is a big motivation to constantly try and produce good outcomes. It also helps that I really enjoy the environment I work in and therefore has made it easier to make key working relations.
My course course is well structured from an internal and external basis. My company understand the demand between revising for exams as well as producing high level work. This makes it easier to handle both my workload and the high demand from my training provider with completing mocks for exams.
I believe my employer really help with support towards my qualification. All trainee's and senior members of staff have all been through the same challenge and therefore we all support one another with regards to work and exams. This also helps to build key relationships with all my employees.
My training provider are very supportive of my qualification and often get in touch giving out their service on a regular basis when an exam date is looming. They also help with apprenticeship admin work and how to lay out portfolios and also help with improving technical skills
My qualification through my training provider helps to improve my job role, as it helps to expand on my basic accounting knowledge. The skills you acquire through the college days allow you to understand external accounting policies better and the reasoning behind why I then incorporate this into auditing.
At Crowe, we encourage to expand working relationships to become more than just about work. As a result, we often have a social event every month to allow senior members of staff to connect with trainees as well as allow trainees to expand their relationships with other trainees as well.

At Crowe, you are treated as an employee not as an asset. Crowe value all employee's equally and wish for them all to strive. As a result, the support received from all members of staff is significant and therefore helps to continuously progress within your job role.
As cliché as it sounds, be yourself. Crowe are not recruiting for the smartest employee's or employee's who act fake as tis will eventually be found out. Crowe want employee's who can add value to the company, show genuine passion to succeed and show potential to grow continuously.
