I sell and provide value to customers by listening to their problems with procurement and providing solutions to help them give value to their business.
During this apprenticeship, I have became more confident in myself as an AM. I believe I have learnt a lot through this period which has made me better at the role.
I enjoy the learning aspect and the job. I enjoy the sales aspect and the company. I really enjoy Softcat as a working environment and would definitely recommend it to everyone.
My programme is well structured, it is good to separate the job from the apprenticeship work, which Softcat have done a really good job of.
We receive a lot of support. This ranges from wellbeing to professional support. The support is always provided by our managers and peers.
We receive a good amount of support which allows us to be structured and not fall behind. This allows us to get ahead in the programme, which is the goal we are heading towards.
It allows us to look at stuff from a different perspective as opposed to one. This lets us find our own unique style.
We have social events on regularly which are great in helping you settle in. We are also in the process of creating a football team.
Yes
Softcat is a very happy environment to work in, and a very good career opportunity.
Being confident in yourself is a huge part of the role and company and being prepared to dive in head first. That would be my main advice.
