  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • On a day to day basis as a duty manager my role is to ensure the shop is clean tidy filled with stock and staff know what their job is for the day. At the start of the day I issue the tills and at the end of the day I close the store down, do the cashing up and banking.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes I have. I have learnt that body language is key to a positive customer experience if your body language is negative the customer will more than likely not return and tell their friends and family about there experience but if you have positive body language the shopping experience is better for the customer and they are more likely to return.
