as a mechanical technician i support in the maintenance and fitting of parts on the power plant
developed my skills in problem solving as well as learning how to use different types of equipment in the workshop, i have learnt the process to how work is carried out in the nuclear industry
I enjoy my programme very much, the team of people in our company is very nice and helpful, and are keen to tech me the best way to do my role
the programme is very well structured everything was organised very well between the employer company and the college and they are always very approachable if i need help with something to do with the programme
i receive a lot of support from my employer in my job as well as the early careers team they are very supportive, and have organised catch up calls every 3 months
the training provider is also very supportive helping to make sure we achieve the best of our qualification
my qualification from my training provider helps me develop in my role by applying what we learn in class to what we could see in my role
there is plenty of extra events in my work they offer through teams calls in networking and personal development as well as working with the STEM ambassador group

A very well organised team that help with your development in a professional role and are always very approachable to help
take a good interest into a nuclear power generation, be willing to undertake any job that can help you progress
