At the moment I am writing anti money laundering development specifications, defects and permissions. I would then test this functionality once it had been created by developers. I am doing this on both the client and generic version of the software.
Yes, I've learnt a lot of technical skills, story writing, permissions creations and the use of software such as salesforce. I have also developed more confidence in speaking in front of people and get across what I want to say efficiently and detailed.
I very much enjoy the work I do for my program, I enjoy the problem solving and the technical thinking required in my role. I find it very rewarding.
The organisation/structure of the programme has had good points and bad points. I am in the first ever cohort which means some of the structure has been decided as we go but the general plan has been there from the start.
I receive plenty of support from my employer. If i ever have any issues I feel comfortable to ask for help and will always receive it beyond what I expect.
I have received a mix amount of support. Sometimes the support is exactly what I need, other times I have been ignored or received support that bares not relevance to the question I have asked. I cannot say that I feel satisfied by the support provided.
The qualification has provided me with some benefit towards my role, mainly through ways of thinking. However, there is very little from my qualification that was relevant to my role mainly due to my role being so niche as it is rotations between different departments in Managed Services.
Yes there are. The only issue I have faced is that the majority of sports teams, which is my main interest, are London based making them obsolete to me.
Yes
I feel like working here is a massive benefit to anyone. The ways of working, the scope of roles and the variety of people you work with will help anyone to improve.
