  • I work in audit, helping the teams with whatever needs to be done.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt a lot of softer skills regarding workplace etiquette. I have also learnt skills such as working with audit technology, and how to write professional emails.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme but I think that there are certain skills of mine such as creativity that are not necessarily utilised in the work I do. I also think that, given my inexperience, I'm given work that is really simple and boring, meaning I am not really intellectually challenged.

  • I think the programme is structured, but given how large of an organisation KPMG is, there could be more organisation.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • There are days where I will be sat doing nothing and then days where I have too much on my plate- I have been struggling to spread these out.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Lots of support from BPP- plenty of materials and the teachers are always on hand to answer questions.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think that going from school, where I had no prior knowledge of finance, the training provider helped me to understand the world of audit.

  • there are sports teams and plenty of social events.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I think that the apprentice route is a wonderful way to begin your career path. I feel that KPGM is an organisation which thrives on coaching and learning, given it has so many new joiners every year.

  • Be yourself!
