I am a young person support worker at libre living. This involves caring for children and providing them with resources to excel in life and become the best they can be. It involves safeguarding and supplying opportunities for the young people in my care.
I have learnt a range of new skills sector. I am more confident in my own abilities and have learnt how to write reports in a correct way. I have also undertaken new training on a range of areas.
I really enjoy this programme and it is very rewarding to know i'm making a positive impact on people's lives.
The programme is very organised and structured in a way that makes the workload manageable.
The employer is very supportive in this. They provide lots of opportunity and help if needed in the completion of work. I couldn't ask for anymore.
The training provider is always available if I require any help and responds quickly to questions. They tailor the experience to you personally which also helps a lot.
My qualification has helped expand my knowledge on the subject and actively consider what I'm doing at work and how I can improve.
There are no extra curricular activities at work however we also speak with professionals in this area on a monthly basis which is very useful.
