  • i am a junior project manager. i support the programme manager delivering changes into the digital stack and channels. this role gives me exposure to business analyst and change management.

  • yes - business analysis , change management and project manager. the skills have been developed through the course and on the job learning.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have enjoyed the programme as it has given me exposure to technology and providede a support mechanism forthe learning. the programme has had different methods of learning, e.g. webinars, workshops which has kept it interesting.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • the programme is very structured. the learning privider has monthly sessions to which ther is follow up wiork. oiur business also provides structure from an internal point of view.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • we receive 20% allocated time to complete the apprenticeship work. we also receive regular 121 support and group support from our employer.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • the training provider has monthly mentoring sessions both group and indiviually. the training provider also provides a slot for us to check in on a weekly basis. our training provider has an open door policy where we can contact regarding any issues or support wre need.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • the qualification learning is good as it teaches you thematic knowledge that can be applied. I have to date been able to apply at least 2/3s of what i have learnt which is above my expectations.

  • yes - regular meet ups are orgniased by the learning provider. the company also arranges meet ups.

  • Yes

  • Barclays is a great place to work. the company ios inclusive and diverse. the support that you recieve is on oging and there is room for so much learning and progression.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Barclays?
  • - be yourself - have the right mindset - be curious - put the customer at the heart of eerything
