  • I am a Project and Technical Delivery Manager, working for a High Street Bank. My team is responsible for our Data Platforms, and we are responsible for the Digital Customer Journeys. Currently we are working on projects using customer data to deliver relevant insights to our customers

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Improved my excel skills learning new techniques to cleanse, analyse, manipulate data and create interactive visualisations

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I found it initially a bit challenging as it was a new course, however, my coach was great and the online teaching improved significantly as the course progressed. My Multiverse coach was very flexible and provided a lot of additional support if required

  • It was a bit disjointed to begin with but improved as the course progressed

  • My Line manager was really supportive and we also have our own talent coach who was also very helpful and approachable

  • Plenty of support and arranged 1on 1 session when I asked for additional support

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It has provided me with a good understanding of Data and I have moved in to a data function from mortgages, so this has really helped me settle into my new role

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There is plenty of activities, cultural and employee relationship network groups. Particularly at the Radbroke campus I work at.

  • Yes

  • Great colleagues, lots of support, friendly, inclusive, and Radbroke site has lots of events available to colleagues to attend


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Barclays?
  • There is plenty of opportunity so grasp it if you are thinking of applying. There is a lot of expansion and development in the tech business and opportunity to move and shape your career in different direction if you want to so go ahead an apply
