I am a digital marketing assistant at an SEO company. My role includes managing some SEO customers whilst also helping with outreach for all of the clients we work with.
As someone with only a small amount of SEO knowledge prior to starting, my analytical skills have developed significantly - as well as my academic writing.
My company are incredibly supportive of everything that I do, and have allowed me to grow and develop my skills in an incredible environment. My training provider is also incredibly supportive of me and my university work.
It’s really well structured - there are no traditional exams as this doesn’t reflect the work environment we are in.
A lot. My line manager is a very supportive, kind and understanding person who has taken every opportunity to allow me to grow as a marketer, and a person.
A lot. We have designated IQAs for assignment assistance and there is always an active teams chat to turn to for help.
I learn so much, but it’s definitely my confidence that allows me to be better in my role.
My university do not offer much in the way of these opportunities, I feel we would benefit more from this. My workplace is only small so events are resigned to designated staff (though this does not affect me or my happiness).
Yes
A lovely company who are always looking at encouraging my growth.
Do it! Honestly doing an apprenticeship can be really stressful without the right support and I’m so pleased to have found a workplace where I feel completely supported in everything that I do.
