assisting competent engineers in the design of building services engineering systems on fit-out commercial project across London.
yes I've learnt personal and technical skills. confidence, responsibility, formality, communications. and also technical abilities in calculations, drawings etc
I enjoy it a lot and wouldn't change it for anything else. the apprenticeship keeps me learning whilst I'm earning and unique opportunities I would not be given in a typical role.
the structure is very well organised. I know who to speak to when I need support and also have others who have been in my position to speak to for advise.
I receive sufficient support from my employer. the apprenticeship is always first priority and therefore support is granted when required.
we are always given the correct support from our employer towards our qualification. relevant CPD's are always provided. also seminars and events that help towards our social skills. and any training required is provided.
the qualification will help me to develop towards more responsibility, exposure and hopefully a higher salary.
there are always work socials to attend on Thursdays and events and evenings with others from the industry. TBA also promote out of work achievements regarding charity, events etc
Yes
I would recommend TBA to a friend because it gives young people the right step towards a good future. as well as qualifications and experience the apprenticeship helps to develop a young engineer personally.
I would suggest being confident even in times when you do not feel up to it. also speaking to others first and making relationships with those you work with.
