My current role is a programme lead within B2B solutions. This entails managing a programme of renewable energy solutions projects. Within the apprenticeship I have done 6 month placements across the business varing from team manager to finance BP.
I have clearly developed my stakeholder management and people skils throughout the apprenticeship so far. I am able to now manage upwards and develop strong withstanding relationships. I have also developed my analytical skills, technical industry knowledge, project managementment, communication skills to name a few.
I thoroughly enjoy the programme with the right amount of day to day job exposure as well as wider development and social activity. All stakeholders within the business are friendly and are always on hand to support. There is the right amount of difficulty as you develop.
Well structured. With 6 month placements coinciding with university work.
Lots of support is provided with a university tutor, business mentor, line manager, scheme lead and other apprentices to lean on when support is required.
I feel as though it provides me the academic context to the work I am delivering. In example, in my current project management role I am able to then understand the tools and techniques which I can use to support with the activity
Women in leadership, community days quarterly, development days quarterly, site visits and apprentice events.

E. ON has provided myself with the platform to explore the world of work at a young age. I now have a better idea of what I want to do in the future and why. I have had ample support and really enjoy my roles.
Be your authentic self. E. ON are always looking for strong minded, enthusiastic individuals who thrive as themselves. Be curious and ask questions, no question is a stupid question.
