My role is one of being a data analyst. This consists of using mainly python to find insights in the data given to me. I also have one day a week free to focus on my apprenticeship, in which I learn about a variety of languages such as PowerBI, SQL, Python and R
Through my apprenticeship I have learned how to use a variety of languages such as PowerBI, R, SQL, and Python. I have learned how to load, manipulate, clean and analyse data, and I have also learned about machine learning algorithms and applied the skills I have learned in my day to day work.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme. I feel like the knowledge and skills I learn in my apprenticeship, and then having the support in my team to further enhance these skills makes it easy for me to transfer my knowledge in a live working environment. I feel supported in my journey.
The programme I am a part of is very well structured. I have a live teacher who goes through the variety of languages using presentations but then also goes through live demonstrations of how the skills and knowledge are applied in a live working environment. The flexibility of my programme allows me to balance work life with an apprenticeship seamlessly
I feel extremely supported by my employer. I have a variety of people from my team and other teams that are willing to help me learn and pick up the skills and knowledge I need to excel in my field. My employer is very understanding and supportive and that gives me the platform to develop efficiently
My training provider provides everything required to pick up the skills and knowledge to learn the tools required to be a Data Analyst. This is further helped by having the time and live projects in which my skills and knowledge can be implemented. Having small incremented tasks after each session help practice the skills I learned in the session
This qualification drastically helps me to perform better in my role. Not only does it provide the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in my current role, it gives me the knowledge and skills to also be well rounded so I can pick up tasks that require other languages such as SQL, PowerBI, R and Python
I have had a few events that I have attended that have been thoroughly enjoyable, but they have been limited. The events I have been a part of though were in really nice venues such as the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and all expenses were paid for such as train fares, accommodation and food.
Yes
