  • As a duty manager, my role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel. My duties will include: managing and supervising the team, ensuring they are performing their duties efficiently and effectively, training new staff, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise; customer service,I am responsible for ensuring that customers receive excellent service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any complaints or issues that arise and health and safety.

  • Yes, I developed my leadership, and financial management skills. Also I learnt how to provide excellent customer service as is crucial to the succes of any business.

  • I really enjoy the programme as is a good opportunity for me to gain practical skills and experience at my work place. I am learning by doing my job and this is a big advantage. Also, during this programme I gain lots of confidence and information.

  • My programme is very well organised, as small disadvantage is that sometimes I am struggled to find the balance between work and this programe as I am working full time.

  • My line manager is helping me a lot, they understand me and support me in this process.

  • I can say a lot, as they booked for me classes to understand the topics and to help me on my qualification.

  • This qualification is helping me with personal development. It is helping me to build self-confidence, improve my comunication and teamwork skills, and to become more adaptable to changing circumstances.

  • I can say that I took part of an anual Whitbread party, that was my chance to meet new people, to learn more about the company I am working for.
