Ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently in order to serve customers food meeting the company’s beliefs , customer service is at the heart of my job role and managing people is also key this ensures that customer satisfaction is always at a high standard and the restaurants overall running is efficient.
I have learnt how to manage a group of people according to needs and how to meet people’s needs , I have learnt that understanding different styles people like to learn is important to incorporate and practice to ensure each staff member is working or their best ability and understanding what they are doing in their job role .
I enjoy my programme a lot , I think it has given me opportunities within my restaurant that I wouldn’t have necessarily been able to access before I had started my apprenticeship, for example I have been able to become a manager and progressing onto further opportunities such as a assistant manager later on
My programme is very well structured and is easy to access and insured I can keep up to date with all of my work and ensure is it always submitted on time , having access to a coach also helps with feeling supported and feeling like you can always have someone at hand to help you
I received a lot of support from my employer as I have access to people within my restaurant all the time who are willing to help for example people who are also on the same apprenticeship as me who are able to offer help also aswell as past employees who have done it too
I receive a lot of support from my training provider , this ensures I have a lifetime coach who is always there to help and I have access to email and call them whenever I need them aswell as others who work for lifetime who help me within my app for my apprenticeship
I feel very confident that it helps me perform better as it helps me have a better understanding of how to run a shift and how to understand people’s behaviour and preferred learning styles , before this I didn’t realise how many different ones there were and how different everybody learns
Yes we have outside of our apprenticeship work party’s where we can all get together , other than that I am not too sure about any other opportunities we have however we may have some I am just not aware of them as of yet but it is something I would be interested in
Yes
Everyone at McDonald’s is so friendly and where we are all of a similar age group everyone seems to get on extremely well , we are all like a big family and work well and strive to see each other succeed and grow with each other boosting each others success
Don’t be afraid of working at McDonald’s , it is a very good job and you can progress so much within your company . There are so many opportunities open to anyone who shows and interest and wants to succeed , people are always there to help and never be afraid to ask questions .
