As an internal auditor I conduct assurance reviews on the efx market business. I deal with many different stakeholders in that sector. Some of the audit work includes reviewing policy and procedures, testing controls in place are working well.
I have learnt lots of new skills. This includes having basic skills of data analysis and using systems such as python and sql. I have also updated my excel skills.
I really enjoy the programme. There is always something new to learn and always training provided to upskill yourself.
At first I did not find the programme organised. I have had 3 different external talent coaches and 2 different internal coaches. This inconsistently has affect my work as everyone does things differently. Jow there is a clear plan and structure as I'm now to the end.
From my direct manager and director of my team I do receive a lot of support. They ensure the work I conduct is relevant to what is required of my apprenticeship.
There has been changes from the training provider that has made it difficult to keep up with the required work as everyone does it differently. I have a 6 week call and a 12 week call where we communicate updates.
Very well as it allows you to review your previous work you have conducted. It gives a good review of what I have learnt and what I could still learn and improve on.
There are sports team available and I'm currently part of it. It allows to play with other banking clubs aswell as have a change to attend Premier league games. I'm also a part of a network programme where events are held monthly.
Yes
It's a great place to work and there are so much training available to unskilled yourself. There are also great benefits aswell as opportunities to work and see other teams in the bank.
