I am an apprentice for TUI and my job role is to find the perfect holiday`s for every customer that walks in the door. Not only I book holidays but I sell extras such as car hire and car parking and travel insurance. I also post deals and post information on our tui facebook page which is very fun.
I am learning new skills in the bureau selling currency but I am also still learning different sales.
I think that my apprenticeship is amazing and I enjoy where I work. We think of each other as a big family, respecting each other and having fun.
I have so much help and it is very organised, I am having maths lessons along side my apprenticeship and they make sure I have a lesson once a week on the exact date.
Everyone in the region is so helpful and when ever I need to ask a question somebody is there to help me.
I have a feedback lesson once every month, so we go through how I have done and the assignments I have completed.
I feel like I have improved since I first came. But with my apprenticeship work it makes me a better adviser as my work is related with maps, currency also codes and much more which is very helpful.
I post information on the facebook page sharing deals, currency, cruises and any new offers.
Yes
Because it is a great opportunity and great experience, all colleagues are kind and lovely to meet. It is also a good way to get into the travelling industry.
I took in my CV and said that I have applied for the job to show my face and make a conversation with another staff member. Which I would recommend
