Check guests in cleanliness of reception make sure everything is set up and ready for housekeeping in the morning ironing shower curtains refilling sanitation stations keeping consumerables full, communicating with guests through out the night and hourly corridor checks making sure nobody is being to loud and disturbing other guests
I have developed my skills on reception with learning new things about Bart and gaining confidence in what I already do on reception, I have learned how to do and out booking to another hotel and how to change the room set up on room control to what is already set up
I enjoy the program very much, I like that it challenges me I like that I get to meet new people that are also on the apprenticeship and go to apprenticeship days to see them and get face to face help and see Mary to ask for help or have a catch up
Very well everything is online and in month order and you just make your way through it with deadlines and makes it easier to keep on track and see when things need doing by and how long you have left to do them keeps me organised and know what I’m doing.
I received enough support mainly from my assessor Mary who is always about to help me with any questions I have about the work and we have monthly meeting to check my progress and check up on how I am I getting along with the work, and help with anything I need.
I get lots of support from Mary who is a text or Email away if I need help we have monthly meeting to catch up and check to see my progress and see if I need any help we also go to apprenticeship days to meet others on apprenticeship as well
It gives me confidence within my job role and help gives me a deeper understanding of my role, helps me take on Extra roles at work as well, and more responsibilities with in the work place, and helps me when I help cover at other sites to navigate better in that role.
I take part in apprenticeship days when they happen to meet other people doing the apprenticeship and see Mary and get some work done and talk to other people about what we are doing and ask for help as well, and get to know other people in the company as well.

It’s a great opportunity for anyone, to learn more of the business and gain a deeper understanding of how the company works and the ins and out of the daily works, also gives opportunity to help meet people and give possibilities of moving up in the company to managerial roles
