I work with my team to provide reports and valuations of hotel buildings. The reports are required for a range of purposes such as bank loan security, year end accounts, internal management or more.I often go on inspections to see the hotels we're valuing, recently I went to Amsterdam for an inspection.
I have learnt how to communicate with clients; I developed my skills in excel; I know how to analyse a P&L statement accurate and efficiently; my maths and English skills have developed
I think my work programme and university programme are both incredible. Savills especially makes sure you get to know everyone in you team and are included in lots of external events so you're growing your network from day one. One of the best parts of the programme is the other people you meet.
You have to be independent to an extent, but i fyou have a good line manager they will help. Furthermore, if you're confused about something, HR and apprenticeship outcomes officer's are very helpful and always make sure to keep a good line of communication with you.
My line manager and APC counsellor provide lots of support, along with my team.
UCEM are very helpful and super quick at responding to questions.
I made sure to choose the relevant courses for my work, so I find ti very helpful in my development, and it really improves my performance at work.
Lots of professional networking events, sports teams, social activities and more. One I like most is each week we have a team workout at a different nearby gym class.
