  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role includes keeping our organization up to date with our social media content. Helping show a good reputation for donating to charities and choosing who to donate to for the year. I reply to email from external charity events and help with HR. This includes learning processes for example, DSE.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learned IT skills and developed my knowledge in new software for example, Spark and Zimbra. I have now worked within a marketing team and I create meetings and take minutes during. This helps my communication, organization and planning skills develop more. I now feel confident to plan and book meetings.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme a lot. My tutor is helpful and easy to contact. All assignments where just the right amount of difficultness and I learnt so much. Each deadline was set reasonably and feedback was all easy to understand. I feel like I have had enough time throughout this whole thing.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very organized and structured. Each assignment is set with enough time between them so you can get the opportunity to complete them in no rush and good quality. All assignments handed in is marked within a day or two and you are given effective feedback from your tutor.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received a lot of support from my employer. I had constant meetings weekly with my manager on what I am doing, what I am struggling with and what the next steps are. This gave me confidence and effective feedback. I am so satisfied with my support from my employer

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a lot of support from my training provider. It has everything I need to show me where I am and what my aims are when working towards my qualifications. There is a small graph which helps me visualize where I am at and how long left I have.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel strongly about my qualification through my training provider and how it helps me to perform better as a marketing assistant and general business administrator. My assignments get me to push myself by coaching others and helping colleagues. They also show me example traits I should improve on like communication.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are no extra curricular activities to get involved in at my organization at Atlantic Data. I could stay after work for 30 minutes to speak to my manager about shadowing different departments at work for example IT or PMO. This can give me more professional skills and activities to work in.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Great atmosphere, treats employees well and very supportive. I get good lunch breaks and can socialize to an extent at work. Help is always available and your days are busy as there is so much work to be given out. It is not a stressful place to work and charity events are fun


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Atlantic Data Ltd?
  • Be open minded. Some days can be repetitive but once you start a project you will enjoy it and get support so do not be nervous. All managers are nice you are trusted to do your own thing so you must be reliable and trustworthy to keep track of deadlines and time.
