  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role involves reviewing bankruptcy applications that have been submitted by money advisors on behalf of debtors. I have to ensure income and essential expenditure is evidenced in the application. I have to check experian reports to ensure there are no additional bank accounts returned that debtors may not have submitted to ensure we can see all assets. Once I am happy everything has been evidenced. I submit this to a queue for management to check.

I have learned new skills relating to income and calculating income over a period of time. Some debtors are paid weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and monthly.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the programme as I am learning lots on a weekly basis. Due to the nature of the job no applications are ever the same. They can vary due to different types of income for example people on benefits to people who have a salary then sometimes a mixture of both. I am really enjoying my job.
