    • Yes, I have greatly improved my ability to communicate, with colleagues and customers and my scepticism towards any work I take part in.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

    • I do not enjoy my programme, mainly because the course material is too much to learn. I feel like a parrot in the exams, reiterating phrases and words without any real understanding of what is being said.

    • As the course has progressed, it has become less structured and the remote sessions have become less frequent.

    • They allow me 5 study days every 13 weeks.

    • Support is there, but I would like more remote sessions from them.

    • Without the remote sessions and material, I feel I would struggle more though I would.

    • None, I would not take part even if they were there.

    • No

  • 9b. Why?

    • Because my personal advisor has changed so frequently that I feel like my current ones do not understand where I am at in the programme.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Smailes Goldie?

    • Be prepared for study work at home.
