  • I am the Jobcentre Manager, I have 10 employees that work in this office and I am in charge of any issues that arise whether it relates to members of the public, other agency staff and the building itself. I regularly meet with stakeholders and partners from outside agencies.

  • I have definitely developed my existing skills

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy gathering the evidence for my apprenticeship and seeing how far I have come and the examples I use a re very strong and I have achieved so much in a short space of time.

  • Very well organised. My Primary Trainer is amazing and so friendly and very professional.

  • I receive a lot of support from my line manager they are very in to developing their staff.

  • I have not used the provider for support but I am aware they are there if and when I require them.

  • Definitely has helped me massively I feel much more confident in my decisions and how I handle every situation.

  • Yes there is.

  • Yes

  • I really enjoy working for the government - it is a sense of security and they always back you if you want to progress in your career.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Department for Work and Pensions?
  • Just keep trying - the recruitment process is really difficult to pass but if it is meant to be you will get there.
