Swapping old street lights for new street lights and digging out the street lights to get to the live cables. Disconnect, take out the existing colum and connect the new colum
Learn how to handle live cables following correct training and procedures (jointing). Building on reading plans and job instructions, becoming competent
It is a good programme but there could be more courses to help build our future to give us different paths within the company.
It was going well then covid set us back but the company is putting things in place to get me back on track.
The support is there if we need it
We all have mentors and apprentices leaders and help is there anytime you need
Some of the courses link in with the day to day stuff and ables me to put it into perspective
The people I work with at the yard go out for meals some times especially at Christmas
