As a Senior Contracts & Commercial Manager I look after large IT Cloud contracts to ensure suppliers are delivering against their obligations, we're protecting service, we're recruiting and keeping talent and we're resolving disputes quickly.
Yes, my apprenticeship has given me a multitude of new skills including project management, business & operational planning, self awareness and personal development and how to be a better manager to my team.
It's a great programme and the trainers have been fantastic throughout.
Very well structured. Our sessions are all planned in advance and I have regular check ins with my learning coach to ensure everything is on track and we're ticking all the boxes in preparation for end point assessment.
LBG are excellent. I am given autonomy to manage my own time. If I need to take a full day or a few hours here and there to be able to complete an assignment, I can do that.
Hart are excellent and provide masses of support and guidance and are always quick to respond to any queries
The apprenticeship has given me a broader understanding of management and it's many guises and I think I am a more well rounded manager because of these learnings.
We have lots of volunteering opportunities at Lloyds Banking Group and individual sites arrange social events to suit all needs including sports and social etc
