  • Depending on the module and the tutor engaging with the cohort. Some modules can be laborious and poorly ran.

  • Institutions can forget that you do have a limited amount of time. Expecting rapid turnaround times, short timescales on large projects and can be disorganised.

  • Little to none

  • This depends on the module. Some tutors are not experienced enough to provide top quality teaching

  • Being able to see things from a different perspective and can help with turnover if the team and planning.

  • 9b. Why?
  • For a summer job, absolutely. If for a career, you need patience and the ability to long it out. Some days can be quite productive. The more you move up, it can be rewarding. Though, it depends on the role. Teams are always looking to push but sometimes for nothing.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JD Wetherspoon?
  • Know what role you want and have a very good understanding of what the job entails. It's not just serving or cooking. It's a lot more and can be quite overwhelming.
