  • Call handling, both inbound and outbound to internal and external customers. There is also task processing to ensure our customers details are kept up to date and all payments are correct.

  • Yes, I have continued to build confidence in conflict management, due to the confrontative nature of the work.

  • I enjoy learning new things about the work I do and continuing to better myself which the programme allows me to do.

  • It is fairly well organised, with my Mentor able to discuss or clarify any issues I might have.

  • I receive a lot of support, allowed my weekly time to allocate for my Apprenticeship work.

  • I have monthly chats with my Mentor who supports me in completing my assigned work and signposting me to places if I need support in an area they cannot provide

  • Learning more about the work that I do and its impacts have definitely supported me in honing my skills and making me into a better worker

  • Our office has numerous social activities, there is a Sports Group that regularly meets for a wide range of activities. There are also Day Trips Out that are organised to promote social interactivity

  • Yes

  • Work with and for your teams and management, learning from others' experience and teaching others about yours is a useful way of progressing in DWP
