Supporting both teachers and students within the classroom following the curriculum and supporting with extra curricular activities. This means planning delivery and review of sessions or activities during the school term. It also includes off site trips or activities like swimming.
I've developed communication skills learned to use visual communication developed positive behaviour management strategies and developed a working knowledge of possible support available to children within the school.
I've really enjoyed the programme and had an amazing tutor who supported me throughout giving me the best experience from my time as an apprentice. She supported me with academic side of things as well as arranging meetings around my job. All round great experience.
The programme is set out really well, the flow of the assignments works really well and the resources alongside supported me really well.
My employer was amazing. From extra training courses to enhance my development and learning to support with assignments and hot topics. They are fantastic.
My tutor provided ongoing support throughout and regular meetings to ensure everything was on track and she would always check if there was anything she could do to support.
It gave me working knowledge. It allowed me to learn on the job which really helps me to know my role better and understand how the knowledge relates to the actual job.
There are regular meeting for coffee and breakfast arranged as well as other social events arranged between the team, its a way to connect with each other build and strengthen relationships as well as activities for international women's and men's days to celebrate each other.

It's a great course with lovely tutors supporting throughout and the employer was fantastic too.
Take the support, they're amazingly knowledgeable and will provide any resources needed to help you succeed.
