As an apprentice I am required to help and support other workmen in my workplace in a safe manner wearing the correct pep at all times.
I have developed my knowledge of all different types of electrical testing, such as polarity and earth loop impedance.
I really enjoy the apprenticeship program, learning new skills and meeting new people everyday to see how everyone does jobs their certain ways.
The program is very well organised with any training courses made known to us with plenty of time in advance.
The support is constant from eon, which makes me feel a lot more comfortable in and around the workplace.
The training providers give a lot of support to us when preparing us for exams going through every slide point thoroughly with practise exams questions also provided.
I feel the training provider helps us understand and prepare for what's upcoming in our workplace.
There is none of the above involved at the company as I am aware of.
Yes
Eon is a very well supported company with employees been looked after exceptionally well which makes the workplace feel very welcoming.
Be confident, don't overthink the interviewing process as it is quite long and just be yourself, turn up extra early and make sure you're keen when speaking to the big managers and anyone else interviewing.
