  • Listening and communication skills as well as being confident in offering advice to clients via email and webchat.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme and my day-to-day role do not sync, it is good to know why certain decisions are made in the wider HR programme.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The structure has some good aspects. I was originally told the programme was 18 months for the HR certificate. That has now changed and been made slightly longer.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Excellent support with 1 - 1 coaching and opportunity for study leave and additional support as needed. There is always the offer of help when the course is demanding.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Coach and materials are available, but access to the online portal would be beneficial.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • At the moment, there is no direct correlation between my day-to-day role and my qualification, but I am sure it will come handy as I progress through my career.

  • Yes, the wellbeing team provides a lot of social activities.

  • Amazing colleagues, support and encouragement to develop yourself by undertaking learning and development. Benefits are also pretty good.

  • Be patient, do your research and do not give up. If you are rejected, keep trying.
