My role is a Sales assistant on the counter. On a day-to-day basis, I look after the shop with stock and displays and making sure it is safe. I also serve the customers to my best ability, offering different services via phone calls, emails and face-to-face.
This job was a complete reset from what I was doing before. I have learnt so much with the product range and the different terminology from different customers, but the biggest one would be my IT skills. I have not used a computer this much in a business before.
Very much. I struggled at times and did find some parts challenging, but I overcome them and pushed through with the help of my trainer. It was great.
Very organised and structured with planned calls, meetings and targets for each module which were easily met.
So much it was brilliant. I got help with all my questions and everything I needed further understanding on.
My training provider was extremely helpful throughout. I started with a few people and after everyone besides me backed out, my mentor stuck by me and continued with me along my journey. He motivated me through everything and helped with everything he could. I even had some extremely bad days, but he took time out of his day to reassure me that I had this and to keep going. The constant support was outstanding, I could not have done it without him.
It opens my eyes to things in more detail, so I can focus on the tasks for colleagues, customers, branch and company.
Nothing at this time.
Yes
Because it is well structured and a fun, safe environment to work in. Every day, you are always learning something new.
Just go for it, honestly.
