I am a Commercial Channel Manager developing sales and marketing strategies for leading wholesale, retail and online reseller accounts.
Yes, I learned a great deal of new knowledge and enhanced my planning, research, and strategic skills, along with presentation, communication and leadership skills.
I enjoyed the learning environment and the skills it has provided me. I did feel I could have been better supported in the workplace with a subject leader to refer to who could have pointed me in the right direction for further information.
The programme was very well structured.
My line manager and apprenticeship advocate were very supportive, but I feel more resources should be made available to apprentices to help complete the projects and work-based tasks.
The course was very self-led. We only had one full day of tutor-led learning every two months, and the skills coach could have helped with more practical skills such as academic reading, citations, writing and presentations. They did support me well before my EPA.
I definitely feel that the qualification will help me to research and plan marketing campaigns better, and take into account the wider business environment.
Yes, I currently enjoy online Yoga through my employer.
