looking after the facilities around our sites. for example, running electrical cables, servicing mechanical equipment, repairing motors etc.
yes i have learnt other skills that my course didn't cover. for example, mechanical work, fixing pumps, motors and even some plumbing jobs that need doing.
i enjoy my job as i help keep the building up and running for the scientists to do their jobs
the programme with my college isnt the most organised as there has been plenty of change in staff.
i recieve a lot of support from my employer, anything i need for my course i know that i will have a lot of help.
not a lot of support in recent times but towards the end of my course i am receiving more.
a lot of the works carried out on site are electric based so my knowledge from my college course has helped me massively when it comes to the knowledge side to it.

very helpful company with my course and you can be proud of the job as you help keep the building running for the others to do their job.
take every opportunity you get. knowledge is endless!
