I work on a project group as a data analyst apprentice. My day to day role is primarily watching training videos most days, hoping to start providing data insights to the team once they get to the point they start using data
I have learnt sql and vba coding so far. I have also brushed upon my excel skills regarding formulas and visualisations.. I am looking forward to learning python in the coming months
I have found the programme to be very draining as it is completely training video based when in work.i enjoy the classes multivers provide (2-3 3hour sessions a month), but the lack of any on the job training is a dissapointment
The multiverse structure is very well organised. Classes are broken down to monthly categories, with pre work, assignments, and a weekly learning target. The barclays structure could be better.
My team leader is supportive of the time we need for the course and in attempting to find work/system access for us as it is not something their department has/uses
Multivers le has provided excellent support. Regular 121s and progress reviews. They are happy to take time to address concerns and queries, and to spend time supporting any topics you don't fully understand
At the moment I am unable to accuratley provide an answer to this as my expected role for the next 14 months is to watch training videos/ find training resources for myself, but I hope to be able to apply the skills in my role after then
There are social groups at the main sites for the company. My site in knutsford holds regular sessions (yoga, dog days, wreath making etc) and a variety if groups (rugby, board games, bee keeping, etc)
Yes
Overall the company has a good environment promoting growth and wellbeing, Colleague tend to look out for each other even in different teams, and the banefota/healthcare are great
Read the application and make sure you have each bullet point covered in your application or cv. If you have an interview you will find the STAR format will help immensely, and take your notes in with you, they will never have a problem with you looking at your notes
