My role is a 1:1 teaching assistant with an SEN child. I adapt the child's work and do additional activities for them. Helping out with the other children in the class - additional support where needed.
Assessment methods carried out in day to day school life. Self assessment with my SEN child as well as peer. Delivery methods.
I've thoroughly enjoyed my programme, I've enjoyed the assignments, collecting and annotating evidence, and being able to use what I've learnt into my profession.
For me it has been really organised and easy to understand, I've understood the structure throughout.
My employer has supported me a lot. I've tried to find a lot of information and research myself as I just feel as though I will learn better and more doing that, however my employer always asks me how I'm getting on and always offers help.
Again I have received a lot of support as of when needed. I've always felt like I can ask a question whenever and she will always respond.
Its helped me gain confidence as I now feel more knowledgeable on my profession.
We have had a few social activities, e.g. occasions, after school yoga classes.
Yes
I think it's a great company to go through if you are looking to gain a qualification, really helpful, everything has always been explained to me from the start throughout.
Don't be afraid to ask for support or help no matter how minor you think it is - as from my personal experience the tutors will always go out of their way to help as much as they can!
