I make decisions on whether or not a customer/claimant is entitled to universal credit or not. I take into consideration their savings, properties or any type of capital to make a fair decision.
I have developed my researching skills to ensure the information I am researching is accurate and how to relay this to my colleagues.
I do somewhat enjoy it - however as I have worked in a customer service environment before, and I have received the training to ensure I can deliver high-quality service. I don't think I am learning anything new but this has been a refresher.
It is well organised; my training officer delivers the programme in a structured way which makes it easy to follow.
I recieve a lot of support from my employer as they are very understanding.
My training provider always has resolved any queries I have had - so I have had a lot of support.
It is a refresher for me as I already have the experience.

A great place to work - managers are very supportive.
To have an open mind - some of the work that we do can be very challenging.
