Attending meetings, taking meeting minutes, regular site visits for inspections and programme comparison, formulating reports, liaising with contractor/clients. Mainly working on the Perry Barr Residential Scheme, formally known as Commonwealth Games Athletes Village.

My programme is very enjoyable as I have a balance of both university and the world of work. I am able to apply my university knowledge to my job and vice versa
It could be better in terms of what is expected, how we are to do things, promotions etc
I am able to ask as many questions and speak comfortably to my line manager about any support/queries I may have
Not a lot, this could be improved. Communication with lecturers is difficult outside of their lectures
Varied. Some aspects are outdated and dont quite match the modern world of construction
There is a social committee that people can be a part of, joining all sorts of activities whether it be sports, wellbeing, networking events.

It is a company where the employees/managers care. They support you when you need, its flexible with hours and hybrid with both remote and office working
Consider a placement to get an insight in the job roles, before you apply. That way you get a good understanding of what is happening
