Agile project management - SCRUM ceremonies Communication - emails, running meetings Creating project plans Reviewing budgets Reviewing risks and documenting
Developing existing communication skills - learnt how to communicate effectively within a large organisation Developing existing organisation and time management skills Learnt new technical skills Learnt lots of project management skills and techniques - conflict and negotiation management
I have really enjoyed my programme it has allowed me to develop both professionally and personally I have been given lots of responsibilities which has allowed my confidence to grow
In terms of RWE, my programme has been structured well and I have been given lots of support Babington's programme structure was quite poor and needed lots of improvement
Lots of support received from employer, a mentor provided, lots of support from whole team. Help provided whenever asked.
Support was provided however, there was a lack of structure to the programme and sometimes made the course more difficult than it needed to be
The qualification definitely helps towards project management skills - provides the base understanding
There are lots of events held at RWE, you do not have to attend but this has been really good for my networking skills and I have met lots of people throughout the organisation
Yes
This has been a really good start to my career within a international organisation, lots of skills learnt whilst gaining a qualification as well as getting work experience
Do the research, if you do not understand some aspects of the job - ask. It shows that you are interested and have done the research. Most importantly be yourself!
