I support customers on our businesses software K8 and I attempt to fix any issues that the customer is facing with the software and I can get the support of my colleagues if I do get stuck on an issue and once the issue has bee resolved I contact the customer
I have gained new customer service skills and learned how to communicate better with customers from different geographies and how to effectively communicate with customers using either telephony or by email. This has helped me enhance the overall customer service experience when I am dealing with customers allowing me to get better surveys when the customers send them in
I enjoy my programme as it allows me to gain the skills to effectively continue my role with kerridge and this is something I am really enjoying to do and would like to continue to do this for many years to come if I am kept on at the end of my programme
My programme is very well structured as I have tasks that I need to complete and I have regular meetings with my work coach which allows me to see how well I am doing on programme and allows to me to get the vital feedback that i need to improve.
I receive a lot of support from my employer when I need it, when i am completing my programme work there are a wealth of resources that I can use to help answer and I can also ask questions to my team leader or my the principle consultants
I receive all the support that i require from my apprenticeship training provider as I have monthly reviews with my work coach and then I can request meetings if i feel like i need any extra support from her and she always makes sure that I have a full understanding of the task
I feel that the qualification that I am doing will help me better perform in my role with Kerridge as I will have gained the vital customer service and support skills to better provide support to our customers and this would be irrelevant of the customers geographical location as I can deal with customers from around the world
Yes there are extra curricular activties from kerridge we have social events in our office as we have a pool table so we do tournaments within the departments and also we have our annual customer conference which allows us to network with our customers and gauge on how they are feeling about the service that we provide.
Yes
Kerridge is a great place to work for a multitude of reasons, first of all the office is a very laid back vibe which allows us to work effectively as there are not major deadlines unless you are working on something that is urgent to a customers business so you would need to complete it ASAP
I would advise to be yourself during the whole interview process as it can be quite daunting as my interview was with team leaders around the world not just in the office that I am based and some people may find this daunting but i took this challenge in stride
