Data science - analysis of NGS data - also writing custom algorithms to automate data flow.

Yes - new programming languages such as R. I have built on my previous degree. Also, I have learnt methods for analysis of biological data, which is new to me particularly.

My training provider can make things feel a little disorganised at times, but the teaching quality is usually great.

Early talent is valued at AstraZeneca and that is clear to see most days. I am able to take part in high-level projects that have huge impacts in the organisation.
