  • I enjoy it because we’re guided by our AZ values, every one of us is empowered and inspired to thrive, making a real difference to patients, society and our company. We search for solutions that prevent, treat and even cure some of the world’s most serious health challenges.

  • it is individually derived. Your organisational skills will determine the structure of this programme because it is all online and independent learning.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • There are lots of support available as here at AZ we have many individuals who are skilled/specialised at various aspects of health and safety. I personally receive great help from my mentor and line manager. Also, support from the wider apprenticeship group - there are always opportunities to upskill.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • They have been helpful in giving past sample assignments which is valuable. But again, it is all independent learning.

  • My role consists of learning key aspects such as current regulations and industrial standards - this has been key when applying to real life situations.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are lots of social activities amongst apprentices and also wider AZ. There are too many to name whether it is outside of work hours or inside - AZ definitely keeps you occupied and looks after your wellbeing. I am involved in a weekly football club.

  • Yes

  • AZ values me as an employee and especially they are considerate of my well-being. Everyone here is friendly and approachable regardless of hierarchy. It is an awesome place to work.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to AstraZeneca?
  • Research the AZ values. Connect with the interviewer - maintain a positive relationship. Feel free to ask any and as much questions.
