  • Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship - Providing learning support for children and supporting the class teacher with day-to-day jobs.

  • I have built my communication skills during my apprenticeship which allows me to communicate with colleagues to best support the children.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme as this is something that I have always wanted to do and the support I receive from Inspire is beyond helpful as they will always go the extra mile to provide any support you may need.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very organised as all of my work is organised into one portfolio which divides each topic I complete into a separate folder, ensuring that nothing is lost.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have a tutor who I know I can go to with any concerns I may have. I also have a line manager who I can also turn to whenever I may need and I know that she will support me.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • As the workload can sometimes be confusing and stressful, our training providers understand this and provide support with the work as well as our wellbeing.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I have a better understanding of how to support correctly in my role through the support I receive as they will always be there to help with any questions I may have about my role in order for me to do my job to the best of my ability.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • My workplace organises work socials at the end of each term to give their staff the chance to unwind and get to know each other outside the workplace. It is a nice opportunity to share your thoughts and get support from colleagues.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It’s a great way to begin your time in the workplace and gaining practical experience whilst gaining a qualification is in my opinion the best way to achieve your goals.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Inspire ATA Ltd.?
  • Make sure that it is something that you definitely want as no part of it is easy, but it is very rewarding and you will learn so much from hard work.
