  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • During the placement I would get put on different engagements and do audit work for them. I focused specifically on Asset and Wealth Management. I spoke to the client and filled out the aura file doing EGAs - these included testing expenses and looking through financial statements

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt many new skills as this is my first time working in audit and asset and wealth management. Everything I learnt has been very beneficial to my future career

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have had an amazing time on this programme. Living in London alongside the workload has been a great experience. The work is not too difficult and if I ever struggled there was always someone around who could help me and answer my questions

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is well organised and structured. I always knew what was expected of me and where I should be going. The only negative was that a lot of my team members did not work in my office so I never really sat with a team

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my employer. They are very lenient on me if I don't do the normal hours and have to work either earlier on or later. They were also very helpful in coaching me throughout the placement.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a little bit of support but it is mainly in exam season.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel that it helps in some ways as when we are in the office I understand some of the tasks better due to the learning I have had from the qualification

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • there are many social events that happened during my time on placement which made it a much better experience. This helped me network and speak to other people in the office who I hadn't met before.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • PwC cares a lot for their employees and allows you to be very flexible in your work. They promote wellbeing to make sure everyone is still satisfied with their job. They offer many opportunities outside of work and the whole experience is fun


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • My only advice would be to apply as you have a great work-life balance at the job and it is definitely somewhere that is good to work when you are young and want to live in London
